Dr. George Najor has more than 60 years of experience in dentistry. Throughout his career, he has developed deep clinical knowledge and a patient-first approach that has helped shape the practice.
Over the past several years, Dr. George Najor has mentored Dr. Nicholas Shammami, helping pass along the practical knowledge, judgment, and attention to detail that come from decades in dentistry.
Today, that mentorship is combined with Dr. Shammami's modern dental education and training, allowing Najor Dental Center to bring together longstanding experience with current approaches to dental care.

Meet Dr. George Najor
Dr. George Najor brings more than six decades of experience to Najor Dental Center. He graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 1963.
Over the course of his career, he has treated generations of patients and developed extensive experience across general, restorative, and comprehensive dentistry.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Najor has spent the past several years mentoring Dr. Nicholas Shammami, sharing the practical knowledge and perspective developed over a lifetime in dentistry.
His experience remains an important part of the philosophy and clinical foundation of Najor Dental Center.

Dr. Nicholas Shammami represents the next generation of care at Najor Dental Center.
He completed his dental training at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, the nation's highest-rated dental school*, and has spent the past several years learning alongside and being mentored by Dr. George Najor.
That combination gives Dr. Shammami the benefit of a modern dental education while also learning from more than 60 years of real-world clinical experience.
His approach emphasizes thoughtful treatment planning, clear communication, and helping patients understand their options before moving forward with care.
Nicholas Shammami, DDS, earned his dental degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, which has repeatedly earned national and international recognition.
